August 2009 IWN Potluck
The International Women’s Network is a group of women who enjoy chatting with other women from all over the world. We exchange information about the local community while eating a variety of homemade (and store-bought) foods. Some of our members are foreign and some are Japanese. We meet once a month.
Please bring one dish of food (enough for eight or ten people to get a taste of the dish) and a big smile!
Newcomers are always welcome! Take advantage of this unique opportunity to enjoy the international city of Tsukuba with us!
Date: Thursday, August 27, 2009
Time: 6:30pm to 9:30pm
Location: Vivian’s House (Contact us for details.)
Host: Vivian
Because the potluck is being hosted at someone’s house instead of a public facility this month, we would like to ask you to contact us if you are coming.
Vivian will provide some plates, cups, chopsticks, napkins, Japanese shochu if you want to have some, and teas like mugi-cha, o-cha.
